Zófimo Consiglieri Pedroso was a devoted author of Portuguese culture, and worked as a writer, teacher, ethnographer, historian, and folklorist of his native Portugal. His collection of Portuguese folk tales, called 'Portuguese Folk-Tales' , was published first in English, then in his native language, and is a premiere example of Portuguese folklore. He was born March 10, 1851, and died in 1910.
David MacPherson lives in Shawnigan Lake and just celebrated his 53 birthday.  He is the father of a daughter, Chloë, who just graduated from University of Victoria.  David has been a performer for over 40 years and continues to direct, write, design and produce live theatre in Victoria and across the country.  He would like to remind folks to support all Arts during this time of isolation especially local and smaller organizations and find ways to support all performers and when we can get together again physically be sure to rush out to see live theatre in whatever form it takes!!  Follow David on  Instagram at @tccoyote and on Twitter @TCCoyote.
