Ashley Wellman was born and raised in Pensacola, FL and now resides in Fort Worth, TX. She's been a grown-up for 36 years. She earned her PhD from the University of Florida and has worked as an educator and advocate since 2008. She considers her greatest role to be mother to Reagan, her light and inspiration.
